Christophoros Livadiotis work has shined in the last few years in Cyprus as a basketball head coach with Etha Engomi Apoel and now in Keravnos Strovolou. Paris Papaellinas president of Keravnos Strovolou trusts the young coach and share the same philosophy.
The only experienced players left in the new roster will be Giorgos Neophytou and George Theocharides. Nick Stylianou will have a leading role and evolving Simon Michael’s minutes will incsrease. Simon Michael is shining with his performance with the national team and coach Livas knows that.
Papaellinas administration gave the green light to coach Livadiotis to bring any other experienced Cypriot players but coach insisted in investing in young talent. He wants to keep a young average age group in the team.The promotion of last year’s rookie Panagiotis Markou together with Paul Stavrinidou, Orestis Andreou and Panagiotis Doukanaris is considered a fact. The last three young “thunders “will follow the pre-season workout with the men’s team and will start getting some minutes within the four lines of the court.
